SW_WQS_Appendix_B_Lines
Oklahoma Water Quality Standards, Appendix B Areas (Line) This dataset contains the lines (streams) representing the Appendix B Table 1 and Table 2 Areas within the Oklahoma Water Quality Standards. Areas with waters of recreational and or ecological significance are known as Appendix B Table 1. Areas which contain federally listed threatened or endangered species pursuant to the Federal Endangered Species Act are known as Appendix B Table 2. Appendix B Table 1 areas contain National parks, State parks, National forests, wildlife areas, wildlife management areas, and wildlife refuges. Appendix B Table 2 are areas which contain federally listed threatened or endangered species pursuant to the Federal Endangered Species Act.
The purpose of this dataset is to show the relative geographic extent of the waterbodies described in Chapter 45, Appendix B of the Oklahoma Water Quality Standards. The specific waterbody description is given in the dataset's attribute table.

The existing Appendix B line dataset was updated with new Threatened & Endangered Species ranges provided in an Excel spreadsheet by ODWC Oct. 7, 2015. Line segments were selected from the 1:100,000-scale OWRB_Streams data layer and copied into the Appendix_B_Lines feature class in the test (OWRT) SDE database. Feature attributes were updated based on descriptions provided in the Excel spreadsheet, and a Species field was added for the listed species.
