Areas with waters of recreational and or ecological significance are known as Appendix B Table 1. Areas which contain federally listed threatened or endangered species pursuant to the Federal Endangered Species Act are known as Appendix B Table 2. Appendix B Table 1 areas contain National parks, State parks, National forests, wildlife areas, wildlife management areas, and wildlife refuges. Appendix B Table 2 are areas which contain federally listed threatened or endangered species pursuant to the Federal Endangered Species Act. The purpose for this data set is to overlay Appendix B Table 1 boundary areas with a stream coverage to determine if a stream or river crosses its boundary. If a stream or river crosses an Appendix B Table 1 boundary certain criteria requirements set fourth by Oklahoma Water Quality Standards must be met by that particular stream or river. Having these boundaries in a digital format enables a person to quickly determine if a stream or river is within an Appendix B Table 1 Boundary area. Appendix B Table 2 boundary areas are areas that are known to be habitat for federally listed threatened or endangered species pursuant to the Federal Endangered Species Act.
